About this file

This is a Change Order Notice for the Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) related to an amendment to the Metro Ethernet Contract (P-89808) with Comcast. The change order removes site DOT-R502 Clinton, located at 6121 State Highway 54 in Clinton, Illinois from the existing contract. The modification is necessary because Comcast cannot fulfill service delivery to this location without incurring build-out costs that were not included in the original contract quote and therefore were not part of the executed agreement.

The removal of this site represents a material change to the original contract scope, as the service provider determined that the infrastructure requirements for this particular location exceed what was originally anticipated. By removing DOT-R502 Clinton from the contract, DoIT and Comcast have resolved the discrepancy between the quoted pricing and the actual costs required to provide Metro Ethernet service to that location.
