About this file

This is a Change Order Notice issued by the Chief Procurement Office for General Services (CMS) of Illinois extending a Joint Purchase Master Contract (JPMC) for lab supplies, chemicals, and equipment. The contract, identified as 19-416CMS-BOSS4-P-12458, is being extended until January 31, 2026, to serve governmental units defined in the original agreement. The extension is necessary to allow additional time to complete the solicitation process for a replacement contract. The JPMC was initially established for a term beginning November 22, 2019, through November 21, 2022, and has undergone multiple extensions through various dates, with the most recent extension bringing the contract end date to November 30, 2025, prior to this notice extending it further to January 31, 2026.

This change order is not a competitive solicitation but rather a continuation of the existing master contract on an as-needed basis. The change order qualifies for posting on the Bulletin/BidBuy as it extends the time of completion by more than 180 days. No pricing modifications, set-asides, or funding requirement details are specified in this notice, as the extension maintains the existing contract terms and conditions while extending the period of performance to accommodate procurement activities for the successor contract.
