About this file

This is a Change Order Notice issued by the Chief Procurement Office for General Services in Illinois, extending a Joint Purchase Master Contract (JPMC) for Food and Grocery Items. The contract, originally numbered 22-416-CMS-BOSS4-P-37249 and cloned to P-52556 for punchout operations, is administered by the Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) and provides food and grocery commodities to state agencies and their members. The contract supplies a range of items including dietary food supplements, bakery products, dairy products, frozen foods, grocery items, and bulk food items. The original contract term ran from July 5, 2022, through July 4, 2026, with an initial extension to November 30, 2026; this change order extends the contract completion date to February 28, 2027.

The extension is necessary to prevent a lapse in commodity supplies while a new competitive solicitation (RFP B-50015, published May 21, 2026, and opened July 29, 2026) remains under protest and the procurement is stayed. No new competitive bidding is occurring through this change order, as it represents a continuation of the existing contract with the current incumbent vendor. This extension ensures continuity of essential food and grocery services to state agencies during the pendency of the protest resolution.
