About this file

This document is a Change Order Notice from the Illinois Chief Procurement Office General Services regarding the contract PSD4018160 with JPMC for Flood Emergency and Control Products. Due to the impact of COVID-19, the state is extending the existing contract with Max Katz Bag Co. Inc. for an additional 6 months. This will provide sufficient time to conduct a new solicitation for these products given the disruption to normal operations caused by the pandemic. The original contract was for the provision of flood emergency and control products to the state.

The notice indicates the change order is required as the circumstances necessitating the extension were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the original contract was signed. The extension is deemed germane to the original contract. No other details regarding pricing, set-asides, funding sources, or the value of the extension are provided.

Change orders are defined by Section 1-15.12 of the Procurement Code and Section 1.2067 of the CPO-GS' Administrative Rules.
