About this file

This document is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Administration, located in Carson City, Nevada. The form is a standardized federal certification that requires vendors to disclose and certify that they have not used federal appropriated funds to influence or attempt to influence government officials in connection with the awarding of federal contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements.

The certification requires vendors to affirm three key points: first, that no federal funds have been used to influence government officials; second, that if non-federal funds were used for lobbying, the vendor must complete and submit a Standard Form-LLL "Disclosure of Lobbying Activities"; and third, that the vendor will require similar certification language in all sub-awards and lower-tier contracts. The document stipulates that failure to file the required certification can result in civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each violation. The form provides blank spaces for a vendor to enter the date, solicitation number, vendor name, authorized signer name, and signature.
