About this file

The document is a Certificate of Procurement Integrity form, featuring the Lextran logo, designed for use in federal procurement processes. The certificate requires an officer or employee responsible for preparing a proposal to certify that, to the best of their knowledge, there are no known violations of Subsection 27 of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act, as implemented in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The form mandates that each officer, employee, agent, representative, and consultant who has substantially participated in the proposal preparation must be familiar with and comply with the Act's requirements, and immediately report any potential violations.

The certificate emphasizes legal compliance and ethical standards in the procurement process, with a clear warning that making a false, fictitious, or fraudulent certification may subject the maker to prosecution under Title 18, United States Code Section 1001. The document provides space for the certifier's signature, date, and typed name, and notes that Section 27 became effective on September 16, 1989. The form is designed to ensure transparency, integrity, and accountability in federal procurement activities, with significant legal consequences for non-compliance or misrepresentation.
