Block 3: A-Feasibility Studies: Determine the strengths and weaknesses of the existing system/subsystem, opportunities and threats presented by a proposed engineering change, the resources required to carry through, and the prospects for success. B-Analysis of Alternatives: Facilitate full consideration of possible trade-offs among cost, schedule, and performance objectives for each alternative considered to address User requirements and define viable options. Alternatives considered also address alternative concepts for logistics support. C-Trade Studies: A systematic way to examine viable alternatives. Once alternatives have been identified, a trade study applies a set of decision criteria to analyze the alternatives. These criteria are "traded" in order to determine which alternative is optimal. D-Requirements Analysis: Encompasses the definition and refinement of system, subsystem, and lower-level functional and performance requirements and interfaces to facilitate the Architecture Design process and provides measurable and verifiable Test Performance Measures (TPMs). E- System Interoperability Analysis: Engineering analysis (software and hardware) and recommendations, risk analysis, risk mitigation plans, information systems accreditation documentation, database updates, implementation plans, proposed purchase list (spare parts, license, etc.). F-Process Improvement Analysis: Determines whether an existing process can or should be improved to achieve more optimal results or address existing deficiencies. G-Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) Analysis: A disciplined engineering method used to address a problem or non-conformance, in order to get to the "root cause" of the problem; Used to correct or eliminate the cause, and prevent the problem from recurring (corrective actions). H-Metrics Trending Analysis: A statistical approach to identify, correlate, and predict relevant system RMA performance metric trends and/or worst actors. I- Supportability Analysis Report (SAR): A detailed analysis of sub-systems and components as necessary for detailed planning (life cycle, budgeting, roadmap, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages, etc.) J- Performance Analysis: basic radar metric analysis to understand differences in performance between software builds and likely impact/risks of such differences. K-Study: Other Reports/Studies as required. L-Miscellaneous: Other Miscellaneous trip reports, data deliveries, or data collection as required.
Blocks 4 and 7: SSC/SZQC specifies explicit content for each technical report or study. A reference section for each technical report/study shall be submitted using the following criteria: The applicable issues of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions. SSC/SZQC also specifies the acceptance/inspection terms for each report or study.
Blocks 9 and 14: Delivery via email or electronic repository to each addressee. Large reports and/or classified portions may require delivery via other electronic media. All data must contain a distribution statement, and Security markings shall be IAW the DD254 instructions. Documents may be converted to hardcopy as necessary.
Blocks 10, 12 and 13: The final Technical Report for the complete update to the Supportability Analysis Report (SAR) is due no later than the last day of the period of performance for CLIN 0005. A draft Technical Report for the SAR is due 90 calendar days prior to the final for PMO review and comment. All others are As Required with draft and final delivery requirements/dates determined when the study/services are requested.
