About this file
This document is a Data Item Description (DID) that specifies the requirements for Maintenance Training Materials to be provided under a federal contract. The training materials shall include an Instructor Guide, Presentation Materials, and Student Guide covering topics such as equipment description, theory of operation, maintenance procedures, and hands-on troubleshooting and repair. The materials must be in contractor format and include standard elements like a cover page, table of contents, and revision history. The training is intended to be used by the government to develop instructional material for the initial qualification and ongoing training of technicians responsible for calibration, repair, and restoration of the procured equipment.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center for Furuno Radar Services. The solicitation includes a Performance Work Statement, Equipment List, and CDRLs (Contract Data Requirements List) that likely reference the training material requirements outlined in this DID.
