CCR-16-0001
Response 002 March 11, 2016
The following is the list of written questions and responses.
Thank you.
Questions:
1. Was the contract with Grant Thornton to do the audit only a 2 year contract, that ended after the FY 2015 audit, or was it a longer contract for which the option for the FY 2016 audit was not exercised?
The original contract was for a base with four options years. The option year for FY 2016 was not exercised. This was due to the changes in the agency’s needs and requirements we believed the current contract no longer meet our needs.
1. What was the cost of the FY 2015 and 2014 audits?
The cost of the audit contracts for FY 2015 was $111,010.90 and for FY 2014 $ 82,679.47. However, the FY 2015 and FY 2014 audit contracts included a FISMA review that is not required in the current statement of work.
1. Has Commission management developed a Correction Action Plan (CAP) to address its plan to resolve the Material Weakness and Non Compliance recommendations? If so can you provide potential bidders a copy of such CAP?
The Commission has taken actions to correct weakness identified in the previous audits. Potential bidders should rely on Grant Thornton’s audit reports. CAPs will not be provided to potential bidders.
