About this file

This Sources Sought (SSS) document is a market research solicitation for furniture and carpet renovation at Building 321 on Robins Air Force Base. The project requires a contractor to modify existing Herman Miller workstations, reconfigure approximately 88 workstations and 7 private offices, demolish and replace approximately 35,000 square feet of carpet with Shaw Contract 24x24 Base Standard carpet tiles, and furnish new conference room furniture. The work involves repurposing/re-skinning 66 existing workstation panels, installing power-operated workstation tables, and creating new office configurations.

Responses are due by close of business on 20 May 2025 and must be submitted via email to the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) MSgt Anthony Jacobs or Project Manager (PM) Lisa Matney. The government has not yet made a small business set-aside decision and encourages both large and small businesses to participate, with joint ventures and teaming arrangements welcomed. Interested contractors must complete a detailed Contractor Capability Survey covering general capabilities, repair capabilities, commerciality, and manufacturing questions, with a focus on demonstrating expertise in office furniture modification and installation.
