Casey WRRF and Shoal Creek WRF facilities, but no additional details on quantities, contract term, or funding sources are provided.

ADDENDUM # 3
DATE Wednesday, June 26, 2024
BID NUMBER 2024-WR-17
BID OPENING DATE Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. local time
ADDENDUM MUST BE SIGNED AND INCLUDED IN YOUR RESPONSE TO THE RFB.
QUESTIONS:
1. I have received addendum 2 but never received addendum 1 and found out during the pre-bid meeting that the site visit date and time was changed. Can you schedule another site visit? I was not the only one who did not receive the first addendum.
Answer: Addendum 1 was posted on June 5, 2024 on the Georgia Procurement Registry, Vendor Registry, and our website, at www.ccwa.us. Regretfully, an additional site visit will not be arranged prior to the Bid Opening scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
2. Does Clayton Co. absolutely REQUIRE the section from the scum baffle to the inner-most wall to be covered?
Answer: The entire area must be covered.
a. If yes, then please be aware that the scum baffle scraper will need to be removed to permit coverage of this section.
Answer: Scum baffle must not be removed.
b. If yes, then can anything “rest on”, or “be mounted to” the scum baffle, with the understanding that there is almost zero load on the scum baffle.
Answer: Nothing can be mounted.
c. If not, will a vertical “plate” in front of the weir be acceptable to block sun from the weir?
Answer: Possibly a drop plate.
d. Or do they even need anything at all?
Answer: Something is needed.
3. What is the minimum distance from the top of the outer wall to the sidewalk?
Answer: No modification will be accepted.

4. Can the steps be raised / modified for additional clearance to accommodate our tensioning ratchets?
Answer: No modification will be accepted.
5. Can they relocate the spray nozzles if we need them to?
Answer: No relocation of spray nozzle.
6. Due to the complexity involved in the design of the Shoal Creek Covers they will take longer to install. We request that the installation time given be increased form 30-45 days. Please let us know if this is acceptable?
Answer: 30 days for Shoal Creek WRF.
7. Being the Addendum 2 specifies maintenance free, can you specify the material to fiberglass or stainless-steel construction since these materials meet that standard?
Answer: Any material is accepted.
8. For the Shoal Creek WRF, Can you specify the width of the covers?
Answer: Any width that fits will be accepted.
9. Would it be possible to get a copy of the sign-in sheet from yesterday’s site visit at the W.B. Casey WRRF?
Answer: A copy of the Mandatory Site Visit Sign-In-Sheet is provided on page 4 of this Addendum.
10. Do you have a list of plan holders/pre-bid meeting attendees for the project mentioned above? If so, can I have a copy sent to my email?
Answer: A plan holders list is provided on page 5 of this Addendum.
11. Is there a structural print showing launder width and weir wall thickness on the WB Casey tanks?
Answer: Refer to the drawings provided with the RFB documents.
