About this file
This is a Purchase Description/Statement of Work for a construction project issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the Individual Terrorism Awareness Course (INTAC) program.
Project Overview and Location: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters (HQ-USACE) requires construction of an onsite Exterior Storage Carport Facility at the Summit Point Training Facility, located at 201 Motorsports Park Circle, Summit Point, West Virginia 25446. The facility will serve as storage for INTAC Training Fleet Vehicles. The carport will be constructed so it can be deconstructed and relocated to another location if required.
Facility Specifications: The carport structure measures 40 feet wide by 80 feet long with an 8-foot leg height. The roof features a 3/12 standard pitch with evergreen-colored roofing and trim, while the sides and ends are sandstone-colored. The facility specifications include galvanized or colored screws, structural tubing (14 GA or 12 GA for the 32' to 60' wide section), standard 29 GA sheeting, vertical or lap siding panels on closed sides and ends, and vertical deluxe two-tone gables. The ends are open, and the facility includes a power outlet within 100 feet. The installation surface is gravel, and building design and plans will be provided. The point of contact for construction is Gary Kehoe, INTAC Program Manager, at the Summit Point Training Facility.
