About this file
This document contains the specifications for canvas bags requested by the state of Illinois in a solicitation for a state and local contract opportunity. The bags must be manufactured in the U.S. and made of 12-ounce single-filled cotton duck, with selvage edging, double-stitched seams, a minimum of 11 stitches per 2 inches, and finished dimensions of approximately 15" wide by 22" high. The bags have no zippers and are closed with the Department's own cable ties or strings. The Department will inspect the bags for compliance with the specifications before making an award.
The contract opportunity is a REBID for Canvas Bags for the state of Illinois. The Department will evaluate the bags by measuring, checking thickness, counting stitching, weighing a sample, and pulling on the bag and seam to ensure it can hold at least 80 lbs. Pricing terms, set asides, incumbent information, funding requirements, and other salient details are not provided in this document.
