About this file

This is a technical drawing set for a roof replacement project at FCC Terre Haute, a federal facility operated by the United States Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons located at 4200 Bureau Road in Terre Haute, Indiana 47802. The project, identified as M.W.O Number 24Z4AT8 and Project Number 68651, involves the complete demolition of the existing 7:12 sloped composite shingle roof down to the deck and installation of a new standing seam metal roof assembly. The new roofing system includes underlay, water and ice shield, drip edge, flashing, counter flashing, and snow cleats where applicable. Additionally, new metal guttering and downspouts will be installed throughout the facility. The roof dimensions span approximately 137'-10" in length with varying widths of 8'-6", 11'-11", and 20'-5" across different sections, with a 7-12 roof pitch. Existing roof penetrations will be retained and receive new flashing and sealant as needed.

The drawing set establishes general contractor requirements including field verification of all dimensions, materials, and utility locations before construction begins, adherence to applicable codes including IBC, UBC, NFPA, ADA, and OSHA standards, verification of roof penetration locations and types prior to work commencement, and provision of all necessary blocking, backing, framing, hangers, and support for installed equipment. The drawings include elevations and sections at 1/16" = 1'-0" scale for the east, west, north, and south sides of the structure. The technical approval set was dated September 25, 2024.
