About this file

This document is an equipment and installation specification list for mess hall kitchen facility upgrades at two locations (Mess Hall 2204 and Mess Hall 1365).

The procurement includes five primary equipment items for Mess Hall 2204: (1) a Stero Model STBUW-2T flight-type utensil/dishwasher with multiple components and a 1-year warranty, including formal factory-certified assembly; (2) custom stainless steel tabling and sinks measuring 25'6" long by 30" wide by 34" high, fabricated by Nichols Custom Stainless with three sinks and pre-rinse capabilities; (3) a Powersoak Model 2246360 pot and pan wash system with 60" wash sink, 34" depth, and 208V/3-phase controls; (4) a Salvajor Model P914 waste collector system with NEMA 4 controls, 3/4 HP pump, and scrap basket functionality; and (5) for Mess Hall 1365, a TragenFlex conveyor system with rotary tray accumulator (88 tray capacity), soiled dish table, pre-rinse stations, double slat belt conveyor, and waste collector, requiring factory technician assembly. Installation services (Item 6) include utility disconnection and removal of existing equipment, transportation to warehouse for disposal, equipment delivery and unload inspection, final utility connections (water, power, drains, ducting), and coordination with authorized service representatives for formal assembly. All work must be performed after hours to avoid disrupting normal dining operations. Contractors must quote equipment and freight as line 1 and installation as line 2 separately. Custom items require manufacturer invoices or catalog pricing for review.
