About this file

The document provided is a Darfur Contracting Act Vendor Certification form from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE). This form must be completed by bidders or proposers that have had business activities or operations outside of the United States within the previous three years, in order to be eligible to submit a bid or proposal for a state contract.

The related state and local contract opportunity is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Diesel Standby Generator Set for the CAL FIRE Southern Region, with a site visit and Q&A scheduled for 5/28/24. The contract term is not specified. The form requires the bidder to certify whether they are a "scrutinized company" as defined in the Public Contract Code, or if they have received written permission from the Department of General Services to submit a bid despite being a scrutinized company.
