About this file
This is a Responsibility Matrix appendix for RFQ CAFC26-0009 regarding the Bridge to the Past Project, which clarifies the division of responsibilities among parties involved in delivering exhibit components. The matrix is illustrative in nature and does not supersede the Statement of Work; in cases of conflict, the SOW and Q&A responses govern.
The matrix designates responsibilities across four parties for six responsibility areas: Overall Vision & Concept, Physical Exhibit Elements, Digital Design & Content, AV Integration, Exhibit-Specific Interfaces, and Facilities & Physical Interventions. The Bridge to the Past Contractor (Digital/AV) holds lead responsibility for Digital Design & Content, AV Integration, Exhibit-Specific Interfaces, and Facilities & Physical Interventions, with support roles in Overall Vision & Concept and Physical Exhibit Elements. DesignMa (Project Designer) leads Overall Vision & Concept with supporting/approval roles in Physical Exhibit Elements, Digital Design & Content, Exhibit-Specific Interfaces, and Facilities & Physical Interventions. The Physical Exhibit Fabricator leads Physical Exhibit Elements with no responsibility in other areas. The Court (Innovation Center/Contracting) holds approval authority across all responsibility areas. This matrix serves to clarify interfaces between the digital/audiovisual scope and physical/scenic scope of the project.
