About this file

This is a Rate Sheet (Exhibit B-1) from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) for Vehicle Cleaning and Sanitation Services, provided in both Excel and PDF formats. The scope of services includes fleet detailing services for various types of vehicles including sedans (2), sport-utility vehicles (1), transit vans (29), wheelchair transit vans (7), and ambulances (1). Services are categorized into exterior cleaning only, interior and exterior cleaning, and complete sanitation, depending on the vehicle type.

The pricing structure requires bidders to submit rates per vehicle for each service category, with the total contract amount serving as the basis for award. Travel time and per diem costs must be included in the rates. The State reserves the right to modify quantities as needed, and all listed quantities are estimates only. Bidders must bid on all items, with zero-dollar bids interpreted as no-cost service to the State. A payment discount option is available for invoices paid within 30 days, requiring a minimum 1% discount or $50.00, which may be used as a tiebreaker in the event of equal bids.

Vehicle Cleaning and Sanitation Services
Electronic bid packages include an Excel version of the Rate Sheet (Exhibit B-1) in addition to the PDF File, to assist bidders in

computing accurate totals. Bidders should download the Excel version and complete all highlighted cells.

Note: Bidder is required to bid each item. Failure to indicate a dollar amount in any item will be grounds to reject the entire bid. A zero-dollar ($0.00) amount listed from any and all items will be interpreted and understood by the State to mean that the bidder indicating a zero-dollar ($0.00) amount shall perform any such services at no cost to the State. Any quantities listed on Exhibit B-1 are CDCR's estimates only and are offered as basis for the comparison of bids. The State will not pay for travel time and per diem as it should be included in any rates at the time of bidding for this job.

The State does not expressly or by implication agree that the actual amount of work will correspond therewith and reserves the right to omit portions of the work as may be deemed necessary or advisable by the State.

All prices and notations must be printed in ink or typewritten. All prices must be bid U.S. currency and shall encompass every item of expense necessary to perform the services.
