About this file
This is a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) template for a competitive acquisition effort for the C26-109E Linear Power RF Amplifier for the United States Air Force.
The government seeks potential contractors with production data, repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements for one RF Linear High-Power Amplifier. The equipment must receive a 100-milliwatt RF signal and amplify it to approximately 150 watts for testing the Transmit Diplexer Circuitry of aircraft, verifying the circuitry can handle high-power RF signals. The amplifier must be rack-mounted and operate on standard 120-volt wall power. Delivery speed is identified as the highest priority for this requirement. Respondents must provide supporting documentation of their capabilities, including any relevant past experience, quality assurance processes and test qualification practices, expedited shipping capabilities, estimated costs with lead times, and standard warranty and return processes. The government encourages both large and small businesses to participate, with joint ventures and teaming arrangements permitted. Respondents should identify any areas of work believed suitable for exclusive small business participation. Written responses must be submitted by April 22, 2026, to Mark Todd (mark.todd.7@us.af.mil) and Paul Mullins (paul.mullins.2@us.af.mil). Participation in this market research does not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards, and the government will not reimburse participant expenses.
