About this file
This is a General Wage Rates exhibit document for the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) in California, establishing prevailing wage requirements for a landscaping services contract. The document outlines the mandatory wage rates and fringe benefits that contractors and subcontractors must pay workers performing landscaping services under this prevailing wage contract. The contract has a two-year initial term with a total budget of $550,000, and workers must be compensated according to the prevailing wage schedules specified in the exhibit to ensure compliance with applicable state prevailing wage laws.
The wage rates detailed in this exhibit establish minimum hourly compensation for various classifications of landscaping workers, including laborers, equipment operators, and other skilled positions. These prevailing wage requirements are mandatory for all prime contractors and subcontractors performing work on this project, with rates designed to protect workers and maintain industry standards. Contractors must verify compliance with the specified wage schedules during project execution, and failure to meet these wage requirements can result in penalties and contract enforcement actions. The prevailing wage rates serve as a non-negotiable component of the bid pricing and must be incorporated into all cost proposals submitted for this landscaping services opportunity.
