About this file
This memorandum for record from the Department of the Air Force, Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex (AFMC) at Tinker Air Force Base outlines detailed specifications for procuring one (1) RF Signal Generator for the 76th CMXG. The required equipment must have a frequency range of 1 GHz to 20 GHz, maximum output power greater than +30 dBm, fine frequency resolution, low phase noise, and support for multiple modulation types including AM, FM, PM, and pulse modulation.
Key technical requirements include remote control capabilities via LAN/USB/GPIB, reference clock I/O, self-calibration features, firmware upgradability, a compact rack-mountable form factor, and an intuitive user interface. Additional specifications cover output power control, signal quality, and modulation capabilities. The procurement includes services and support comprising a warranty, first-year support, 3-year calibration support, and start-up assistance. The document is dated 3 October 2025 and authored by Mark Todd from OCALC/OBCA.
