QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
C24830001 V1 and V2 Questions due: August 6, 2024 by 5:00PM August 23, 2024 5:00PM Answers due: August 9, 2024 by 5:00PM August 27, 2024 5:00PM Version 1 Questions
1) If I’m a qualified VBE and Small Business and cannot find a DVBE before submission, could I qualify my company as a close enough exception to help me qualify for the Bid?
a. There are no substitutions for being a certified DVBE and meeting the IFB and contract requirements. Your business either is a certified DVBE and meets the contract requirements, or you subcontract a portion (6% or more of the total bid price) of the agreement to a certified DVBE to meet the contract requirements.
2) I’m designing the required digital sample version-- if the file gets too big to send as a compressed file, will you accept a link to view the sample?
a. Per the IFB instructions (Section 2.0(4-Sample Product)), the digital sample should only be 12 pages in length. It should not be so big that you are unable to attach a compressed PDF sample with your bid. A link to a sample will not be permitted at this time.
