The east side well (permit # 117217) will be decommissioned. This project will include directional boring underneath HWY 24 to connect the west side water distribution with the east side water distribution. The west side well (permit 268119) will ultimately serve clean drinking water to the entire work center (both sides of HWY 24).
a. The existing septic system that serves the blue and brown house is no longer function well enough to serve the residents that live in these buildings. The effluent is backing up and a full system replacement is required.
b. The septic tank that serves the Bunkhouse is no longer watertight and is leaking this tank is in need of replacement.
c. There are no known issues with the septic system that serves the shop but the age of the tank is unknown so it will be replaced as well.
