Project Greenbrier Ranger Station HVAC Replacement
General Information
1.0 Scope of Work
The project will include the installation of 1 new 15 KW air handler, and a 4-ton heat pump with a new thermostat, wiring, connection to existing ductwork, electrical disconnects, set on existing pad for the heat pump. The project will also include the removal and disposal of the existing furnace system.
2.0 Background
System check found that the outdoor unit was not running. Testing determined that the compressor has failed. Due to the cost of repairing, recommendation is for full equipment replacement.
Contractor Requirements
3.0 Technical Requirements / Tasks
Contractor shall be licensed in the state of West Virginia and maintain liability insurance. All work must comply with applicable electrical and building codes. All applicable codes will supersede any other documentation or requirements provided.
4.0 Government Furnished
Government shall provide access to the facility during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5pm), as well as restroom facilities onsite. No work shall be permitted on weekends or on federal holidays without the written permission of the CO. Any government provided property shall be returned prior to payment of the final invoice.

Remove all existing components, connections, and controls for the existing unit. All demoed materials shall be removed from the project site and legally disposed of off Government property in an approved landfill. Repair wall penetrations where material is removed.
