About this file
This is a Schedule of Items for a fixed-price construction contract involving outhouse replacement and campsite improvement work at multiple Alaska locations. The contract is structured with base items and five optional items that may be exercised if sufficient funds are available at the time of award.
The base work encompasses two primary projects: Alaganik Outhouse Replacement and 18 Mile and One Eyed Pond Outhouse Replacement. Alaganik base items include mobilization, clearing and grubbing, outhouse removal, unclassified excavation (50 cubic yards), aggregate base course (30 cubic yards), installation of one double vault toilet, and concrete pads. The 18 Mile and One Eyed Pond project includes similar preparatory work plus installation of two single vault toilets and two sets of concrete pads. Optional items include: Option 1—100 cubic yards of aggregate base course at Mile 22; Option 2—one picnic structure with yellow cedar materials and installation at Mile 22; Option 3—20 cubic yards of aggregate and two picnic structures at Alaganik; Option 4—clearing, grubbing, 15 cubic yards of aggregate, and two timber frames for a new Alaganik campsite; and Option 5—50 cubic yards of aggregate surface course for regrading existing Alaganik campsites. Offerors must submit unit pricing for all line items to be considered responsive. Bond premiums may be included under mobilization costs. Quantities provided are in-place amounts without shrinkage or swell factors applied, and contractors must verify quantities independently.
