About this file
This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) from the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District ("District") for NextGen911, Cellular, and VoIP Emergency Call Migration Services. The District is requesting proposals from qualified communications firms to provide implementation options for a complete NextGen911 solution, and as feasible, becoming a hosted node on Osceola or Orange County's NG911 system. The solution will also include migrating VoIP and Wireless calls to the District's Primary PSAP. The proposer must have demonstrated competency in networking, communications, software, and integration, and the proposed solution must comply with all Federal and State regulations, including Kari's Law and the Ray Baum Act.
The ITB provides bid preferences for local vendors, veteran small businesses, and opportunity zone businesses. Vendors must register on the District's new electronic bidding platform hosted by PlanetBids to submit questions and bids. The District only accepts bids electronically through the PlanetBids platform to ensure transparency and fairness of competition.
