About this file

This is a Schedule of Items pricing template for a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation numbered 127EAY26Q0044 issued by the Department of Agriculture Forest Service for road maintenance work on the Los Padres National Forest. The contract addresses flood damage recovery and maintenance on two road segments: East-West Cuesta Road and Labrea Rattlesnake Road.

The scope of work includes mobilization, road blading, spot surfacing with Type 2 Road Base and Class 1 Riprap, drainage restoration, roadway vegetation cutting, and placement of government-furnished bunker blocks. Specific quantities include 10 miles of blading and 10 miles of drainage restoration on East-West Cuesta Road (100 cubic yards of Type 2 Road Base), and 4 miles of blading and drainage restoration on Labrea Rattlesnake Road (650 cubic yards of Class 1 Riprap, 4 miles of vegetation cutting, and 3 bunker blocks). Quoters must bid on all items with unit prices rounded to the nearest cent, and quotes for quantities less than those listed may be rejected. The successful contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database before award issuance. This is a firm-fixed-price construction contract with no public opening, and proposals will be retained by the U.S. Forest Service for official records. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible proposer offering the best value to the Government.
