PERFORMANCE STATEMENT OF WORK
1. LOCATION: The location of the work is at the Federal Regional Center / DHS, 63 Old Marlboro rd. Maynard, MA. Work location shall take place in the FRC Federal Regional Center Building.
2. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of providing all labor, transportation, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, subcontracts, and performing all work necessary to Design and Install a new Energy Management System (EMS) at the Federal Regional Center, Maynard Ma.
The contractor shall remain solely responsible for designing the project and installation to satisfy all prescriptive and performance requirements in this performance statement of work.
3. PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS:
3.0. The work to be performed includes the following principal elements:

3.1. The contractor shall Design and Install a new Energy Management System (EMS) at the
Federal Regional Center, Maynard Ma.
3.1.1. The contractor shall install new O2 sensors.
3.1.2. The contractor shall install/replace all VAV Boxes.
3.1.3. The contractor shall replace and install room thermostats and room tempter sensors.
3.1.4. The contractor shall install chill water sensors that will be able to read and control chill water tempters.
3.1.5. The new EMS system shall be state of the art software and laptop computer.
3.1.6. The EMS system shall be able to read and control supply and return fan speeds.
3.1.7. The new system and software shall be capable being remotely accessed and controlled from windows based computer system from outside of the facility.
3.1.8. The new EMS system shall be capable of monitoring/controlling thermostats, O2 sensors, chill water temperatures, VAV boxes and supply/return fan motor speeds.
3.1.9. The contractor shall be responsible for the installation and testing of all control wiring, controls, sensors, computer, software, new VAV boxes and thermostats.
3.1.10. This does not relieve the contractor from any other equipment that may need to be installed to get the desired results for a fully functional Energy Management System.
4.0. COMMENCEMENT, PROSECUTION, AND COMPLETION OF WORK
4.1. The contractor shall be required to (a) coordinate scheduling of work with the government to minimize disruption, (b) prosecute the work diligently, (c) commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the contractor receives notice to proceed, and (d) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 30 calendar days after the notice to proceed.
4.2. Work shall be performed during normal duty hours for Government personnel, 7:00 am to 3:30
PM Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.
