About this file

The Buy American Certificate is a federal procurement document dated October 2022 requiring offerors to certify the domestic content of end products for a VA Medical Center solicitation. The document requires vendors to disclose foreign end products, their country of origin, and whether they exceed 55% domestic content, with specific focus on items like critical components and commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) items.

The associated federal contract opportunity (Solicitation #36C25925Q0618) is for procuring 2 Parata Lower Packaging Units (LPUs) for an ATP2 system at the Sheridan VA Medical Center in Wyoming. The unrestricted Request for Quote seeks brand name replacement components to improve pharmacy operational efficiency, with quotes due by 4:00pm MT on 7/21/2025. The procurement is for new original equipment manufacturer (OEM) medical supplies, with strict prohibitions against gray market items, and will be awarded on an all-or-nothing basis considering technical capability, price, and Buy American compliance.
