1) SOW Provide/Install #11 states to perform test and balance for the rooms shown. Has a test been performed on the system? Can you please provide additional information as to the HVAC system? Are these rooms served by a single system? Are there rooms not shown on the drawing that may be on the same system? If the air flow is high and there are dampers we can easily adjust the flow down. If the air flow is low we will need to balance that air from somewhere and that may include work to HVAC units or work in areas not shown on the drawings.

A test has not been performed on the system. The air handler for the floor HVAC is located in room 317 shown on the drawing. The air handler services the training room/former gym on the second floor and is the far east room on the second floor.

9/11/2018 10 Does the base currently hold a current contract with any Fire Alarm or Fire Suppression company? If not are we free to utilize any contractor of our choosing ?

They can use any fire alarm/fire suppression contractor they wish as long as they are licensed to do that type of work and hold certifications to work on and install the requested fire alarm/fire suppression systems.
