We received the following question:
Q. When applying for the Brookwood Sago grant can the hiring of a research assistant be expensed as an administrative cost or does administrative cost only apply to facility?
A. The application proposal can be written to include a research assistant and is expensed based on how the assistant is used. We cannot make that determination until the proposal is reviewed. If the grant is awarded to the applicant and changes are necessary to their budget line items it will be addressed then.
