About this file

This document is an Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs Request for Quote (RFQ) for Broda Chairs and related seating equipment for the Illinois Veterans' Home - LaSalle. The RFQ requests quotes for two types of Broda Comfort Tension Seating recliner chairs with specified dimensions, degrees of tilt and recline, casters, weight capacities, and optional accessories. The requested quantities are 1 unit of the Midline Full Recliner and 2 units of the Synthesis Tilt Recliner. Quotes must be valid for 180 days and include shipping and handling charges. The vendor is responsible for understanding prevailing wage requirements. The contract will be awarded to the vendor with the lowest total bid.

The RFQ stipulates that quoted prices must be valid for 180 days, include shipping and handling, and cannot be increased, though price decreases will be accepted. The agency reserves the right to reject all offers, award by item or in total, and waive minor defects. Vendors must agree to partial shipments in case of delays. "Or equal" submissions will not be rejected for minor differences that do not affect the product's suitability.
