About this file

This document is a Sole Source Justification (SSJ) for a simplified acquisition by FEMA Region 1. The procurement is a total small business set-aside for renovation work at a FEMA facility, including demolition of existing walls, installation of soundproof walls, new carpet, lighting, electrical work, and a new tinted glass wall. The project magnitude is less than $100,000, with a specific focus on brand name specifications for glass walls, light fixtures, tiles, carpet, and wall insulation.

The procurement will use a firm fixed price contract, with price analysis determined through market research, comparison to previous purchase prices, and competitive quotations. The justification for the brand name requirement is to ensure visual consistency with existing elements, as alternative manufacturers' products might appear or be installed differently. The document is dated 9-23-2025, with a PR Number of BX00134Y2025T, and has been digitally signed by the Contracting Officer, Maurice D Randolph.
