About this file
This is a Bill of Materials (BOM) for antenna refurbishment services required under a Department of the Air Force sole-source contract opportunity. The BOM specifies four units each of three line items: customized refurbishment of 2.4M 2020 C/Ku EMI antennas (model 203-004-516) that includes mechanical drive component replacement, mechanical wear/tear hardware replacement, electrical/wiring replacement to EMI standard, RC4K controller EMI refurbishment, dock testing, and Certificate of Conformance; customized refurbishment of feed-related components including limit switches, wiring, connectors, motors, potentiometers, and radomes; and outbound shipping and handling on a palletized, standard freight basis with risk and title transfer at AvL's dock. All materials and work must be TAA and FAR 889 A(1)(B) compliant, and a DD254 is required with all prime and sub-prime vendors holding Top-Secret Facility Clearance Level and all on-site personnel holding Top-Secret clearance.
The associated sole-source contract opportunity (Solicitation F3LTF16223A001) is being conducted by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Wright Patterson Air Force Base under FAR 6.302-1 for inspection, overhaul, refurbishment, and testing of government-owned satellite terminal antennas. The Government intends to award to an authorized OEM repair provider with proprietary data, software, and tooling capabilities. Responsible sources may submit capability statements by the September 8, 2026 due date, with anticipated contract award on September 11, 2026. Inquiries should be directed to tyler.fruhwirth@us.af.mil.
