About this file

The document is a comprehensive Vendor Questionnaire for a Body Worn Camera (BWC) and In-Car Camera System (CCS) procurement for the Michigan jurisdiction. The questionnaire seeks detailed technical specifications, performance capabilities, and operational characteristics for body-worn and in-vehicle camera systems with a centralized cloud-hosted solution. The document extensively covers physical aspects of equipment, video performance metrics, application functionality, storage and data management capabilities, training requirements, implementation processes, and reference verification.

The questionnaire implies a comprehensive procurement approach seeking a full-featured digital evidence management system that includes hardware (body-worn and in-car cameras), software application, cloud storage, data management, redaction capabilities, and support services. Key evaluation criteria include video resolution, frame rates, compression standards, GPS marking, pre-event recording, live viewing capabilities, security access controls, data backup processes, and integration with existing systems like Microsoft Active Directory. The document suggests the jurisdiction is seeking a robust, scalable solution with enterprise-grade features, including audit trails, evidence sharing capabilities, and flexible deployment options (on-premise, cloud, or hybrid). While specific budget details are not explicitly stated, the extensive questionnaire indicates a thorough vendor selection process focused on technical capabilities, performance, and comprehensive system functionality.
