About this file

This document is a request for sole source justification for a federal contract opportunity with the Department of Veterans Affairs. The contract is for upgrades, licenses, and Veterans Information Systems and Technology Architecture integration for Champion Medical Technologies' proprietary UDITracker, WarrantyTracker, and Implant360 software solutions and integrated radio-frequency identification technology. As the sole manufacturer and authorized distributor, Champion Medical Technologies is identified as the only responsible source able to meet the requirement for equipment and software compatibility with the systems already in place at the Oklahoma VA Facility. Market research confirmed Champion Medical as the incumbent provider under previous contracts. The justification provides information on the statutory authority, demonstration of need for the sole source, description of efforts to ensure offers from as many potential sources as practicable, and determination that the anticipated cost to the government will be fair and reasonable.
