About this file
This document is a Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition for the acquisition of Cessna-172 and Cessna-206 aircraft spare parts for the Colombian National Police Aviation School.
The solicitation is for a 100% Small Business set-aside Request for Quote (RFQ) to purchase Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts for the Cessna aircraft. The estimated cost is $920,000. The Government is justifying a sole-source acquisition due to the requirement for OEM parts to maintain airworthiness, warranties, and traceability. Market research identified five authorized resellers that are eligible to bid. The contract will be a firm-fixed price award based on the lowest price, technically acceptable offer. Quotes are due by August 5, 2024, and parts must be delivered within 90 days of award. The U.S. Department of State Office of Acquisition Management is the procuring agency.
