About this file
This document is an Addendum to the Invitation to Bid BL156-23 for the Provision of a Fuel Management System issued by Gwinnett County, Georgia. The addendum provides answers to 28 questions related to the project, including details on the existing fuel sites and fuel trucks, dispenser types, cable and infrastructure usage, data integration requirements, and vehicle identification methods. The County is looking for a fuel management system that can integrate with their existing AssetWorks FMS software and provide key fob or RFID-based vehicle identification. The revised bid schedule includes options for 5-hose terminals, network switches, key fobs, and RFID chip tags, as well as labor for installation, training, and project management.
The bid does not require bid bonds, and the County expects bidders to provide competitive pricing. The County has identified pain points with the existing system, such as downtime, parts availability, and poor support. The County will provide protocols and technical documentation required for integration, but the service provider will be responsible for any additional API licensing required. Digital signatures are acceptable for the proposal submission forms, but affidavits must have wet signatures and notary seals.
