About this file
This is an addendum to a state and local contract opportunity issued by a Georgia purchasing department for the purchase of janitorial supplies on a six-month contract (BL116-21). The original solicitation required questions to be submitted by Thursday, October 21, 2021, no later than 12:00 PM, with bids due on Thursday, October 28, 2021, no later than 2:50 PM. Bids must be submitted either by mail or in person and cannot be emailed. The contract term is six months with no mention of renewal options.
Addendum #3, issued on October 26, 2021, clarifies a critical pricing requirement for bidders. The addendum specifies that where applicable, the lowest unit of measure price should be calculated using the ready-to-use unit of measure rather than the cost per purchased unit. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum on the bid schedule line provided, as failure to do so may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. This clarification directly impacts how vendors should structure their pricing proposals for janitorial supply items.
