ADDENDUM #2
BL106-24, Bryson Park Synthetic Turf Replacement
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:
Q1. Regarding drawings: 3.1B - are we supposed to laser grade even though plans say leave existing base in place? Existing condition survey shows the center ridge line is 975.0 but then a corner shows 957.1 and another 979.4. Please clarify.
A1. The contours and the ridge line shown appear correct. The base shall be left in place and very little base work is anticipated. The expectation, however, is that any issues with base grading shall be corrected by the awarded contractor prior to laying the new turf down.
Q2. Can you provide some clarification regarding the irrigation line. Could you please provide more details on the scope of work? Specifically, I would like to understand whether this involves installing a new line, removing an existing one, or simply capping it at the field.
A2. The irrigation line shall generally be abandoned in place. The contractor shall cap all laterals at the main line, which wraps the field perimeter.
This addendum should be acknowledged in the space provided on page 15 of the bid documents and returned with your bid. Failure to do so may result in your bid being deemed non-responsive.
