Replace Store Fronts Windows and Doors Elliot Key Visitor Center
Department of The Interior – National Park Service – Biscayne National Park
1. Background:
The Elliot Key Visitor Center was constructed in 1996 as the primary visitor center for Biscayne National Park. Elliot Key is only accessible by boat, which makes it difficult for those driving to access that location. The visitor center at Elliot Key is currently serving as the interpretive educational hub for Biscayne National Park, but with these upgrades for energy efficiency and safety to windows and doors it is the intent to open this building back up to visitor services for those who wish to learn more about the park in its remote locations.
