About this file
This is a Bid Tabulation Sheet for Invitation to Bid (ITB) 25-07 issued by the Tampa Sports Authority for the design, engineering, fabrication, delivery, and installation of fourteen (14) sets of portable field staircases for Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The staircases must feature four-wheeled bases with locking mechanisms, adjustable heights, 48-inch-wide platforms and stairs, aluminum construction with clear anodized finish, and OSHA-compliant railings. The design must comply with NFPA 102 design loads, support 125 pounds per square foot live loads, and meet 2015 Aluminum Design Manual railing specifications. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Raymond James Stadium (Entrance B/C off Himes Avenue). Bids are due on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., and may be submitted electronically via email to bids@tampasportsauthority.com or in person at the stadium. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with the successful contractor serving as the engineer of record and providing signed and sealed shop drawings for Authority approval prior to final completion.
Bidders must submit a bid bond or security of not less than 5 percent of the bid amount and provide three references for similar projects completed in the Southeastern United States within the last five years. All prices must be quoted on the Authority-provided bid form with costs stated as F.O.B. Tampa, Florida, excluding applicable federal, state, and local taxes. Bidders must comply with E-Verify employment eligibility verification, maintain workers' compensation and employers' liability insurance with Florida statutory limits, and carry commercial general liability insurance with minimum combined single limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence. The Tampa Sports Authority has designated preference in case of tied bids for organizations with drug-free workplace programs, service-disabled veterans, minority/small businesses registered with local programs, and businesses with principal places of business in Hillsborough County. No incumbent vendors or existing infrastructure requiring integration have been identified in this procurement. This is characterized as a one-time purchase with time of the essence.
