About this file
This is a bid submittal form for the County of Pinellas, Florida, for an indefinite quantity job order contract (JOC). The contract pertains to the modernization of an existing 2001 KONE hydraulic elevator at the Ridgecrest YMCA located at 1801 119th Street N, Largo, Florida. Bidders must submit adjustment factors that will be applied to unit prices contained in a Construction Task Catalog. The adjustment factors are structured across five work categories: Non-Secure Areas during Normal Working Hours (60% weight), Non-Secure Areas during Other than Normal Working Hours (10% weight), Secure Areas during Normal Working Hours (10% weight), Secure Areas during Other than Normal Working Hours (10% weight), and Non Pre-priced Tasks (10% weight). All adjustment factors must be submitted to four decimal places using conventional rounding methodology.
Bidders must submit a single adjustment factor applicable to all unit prices in each category; submitting separate adjustment factors for individual unit prices will render the bid non-responsive and subject to rejection. Specific constraints apply to the adjustment factors: Other Than Normal Working Hours factors must be greater than or equal to Normal Working Hours factors within the same area classification, Secure Areas factors must be greater than or equal to Non-Secure Areas factors within the same time classification, and Non Pre-priced Work task factors must equal or exceed 1.0000. The Award Criteria Figure is calculated by multiplying each adjustment factor by its respective weight and summing the extended totals; this figure is used solely for bid evaluation and does not indicate the actual distribution of work that may be ordered under the contract. The County reserves the right to correct arithmetic errors using the submitted adjustment factors to recalculate the Award Criteria Figure.
