About this file

The document is a Bid Submission Instructions file from the City of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, outlining the process for electronically submitting bids for municipal contract opportunities. The instructions provide two submission methods: email (scanning and sending bid documents to comptroller@ci.dearborn-heights.mi.us) and electronic submission through BidNetDirect/MITN website. Bidders must be registered users and include specific documentation such as bid deposit, company contact information, and solicitation details. The submission process requires careful adherence to guidelines to prevent a bid from being deemed nonresponsive.

The related state and local contract opportunity is for the Berwyn Senior Center Improvements - External Door Replacement Project, which involves asbestos abatement and replacement of five exterior doors, including framing and trim. A mandatory site visit is required for potential bidders to assess the project scope. The project is located in Michigan and requires specialized contractors capable of handling asbestos removal and door replacement. While specific budget details are not provided in the document, the instructions emphasize the importance of precise bid submission and documentation to ensure competitive consideration.
