About this file
This is a bid specification document from the Valley Stream Central High School District in New York for sheet music, choral, band, and orchestra arrangements (Bid #25/26-05). The bid seeks to establish a percentage discount off publisher's list prices for purchasing sheet music across four district schools, with purchase orders to be issued by the District Director. The contract period is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, with bids due on June 9, 2025, at 10:00 am. Vendors must provide a single overall discount percentage that includes all shipping, handling, and additional fees, with bidders required to deliver materials within 30 calendar days of receiving a purchase order.
The bid document includes several mandatory certifications for vendors, including non-collusive bidding, sexual harassment policy compliance, Iran divestment act certification, and vendor disclosure requirements. Vendors must also provide three references from similar projects completed within the past 36 months. The district offers an optional piggyback agreement allowing other educational institutions or municipalities to use the same pricing structure. Bids will be evaluated based on the single percentage discount, with disqualification for bids listing multiple discounts or variable pricing structures. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids and is not obligated to purchase the projected quantities.
