About this file

This document is a bid specification for body-worn cameras (BWCs) for a county law enforcement agency, outlining comprehensive requirements for a 5-year contract. The procurement involves acquiring 75 body-worn cameras with accompanying equipment, including 3 eight-bay docking stations, 82 regular use licenses, and 7 pro licenses for administration and records. The cameras must meet extensive technical specifications, including a 10-hour battery life, 4-hour internal recording capability, 720P resolution, GPS and Wi-Fi functionality, water resistance, and the ability to transfer video to cloud-based storage. The contract includes unlimited digital cloud storage, hardware refreshes every 30 months, and a citizen portal for digital evidence submission.

Key operational requirements include 24-hour remote technical support, compliance with criminal justice information services data protection standards, and the ability to export audit trails and redact video. The county expects vendor-provided device repairs with replacement cameras within four days and seeks a comprehensive solution that integrates with Tyler Technologies' CAD/RMS system. The total implementation includes transfer fees for up to 50 terabytes of digital evidence storage and a provision for hardware, camera, and docking station refreshes. Interested vendors can contact Captain Brandon Brinks for specific questions about the camera specifications.
