About this file
This document is a Bid Specification for City Entrance Signs, issued by the City of Americus, detailing a project for fabricating and installing four new city entrance signs at multiple locations including Highway 19 @ Muckalee Park, Highway 280 @ Highway 27 NE Corner, Highway 19 North @ Sunrise Drive, and South Lee Street @ Tommy Hooks Road. The project requires one-sided and two-sided signs measuring 12'W x 7'H x 2'D, with accompanying LED lighting, landscaping matching a specified Walmart location, and site-specific concrete footers. Contractors must submit sign renderings with their bids and are responsible for removing existing signs, maintaining site cleanliness, and ensuring proper installation.
The bid specifications include a comprehensive five-year full replacement warranty covering potential defects in craftsmanship, with contractors required to provide proof of business license and adequate insurance coverage. Payment terms indicate potential delays of up to 60 days after invoice receipt, and the City reserves the right to reject any quotes. Contractors must comply with state and federal laws, maintain OSHA compliance, and be responsible for all permits and debris removal. The solicitation emphasizes a comprehensive approach to sign replacement that includes not just the signs themselves, but also associated landscaping, lighting, and site restoration.
