About this file

This is a Request for Documented Quotations (DQ1 2019-0134) issued by the State of Colorado, Department of Natural Resources, Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife (CPW). The solicitation seeks competitive quotations for one floating boat dock, including installation and delivery. The dock specifications include a 6-foot width and 54-foot length with a 6-foot by 16-foot "T" configuration at the end, composed of 16-foot segments. The dock must feature sunken polyethylene shell flotation with EPS foam tanks capable of withstanding extreme cold, gray thru-flow decking that is ADA compliant and maintenance-free, galvanized trusses, corner support hinges for wind integrity, and bridged framework to reduce wind and wave resistance. Additional requirements include a 6-foot by 12-foot gangway with galvanized dock hinge, an anchor system comprising two 2,000-pound anchors and 100 feet of chain, and 54 feet of dock bumpers. The dock must be delivered and installed by September 30, 2018, at Stagecoach State Park in Oak Creek, Colorado. Written inquiries were due August 22, 2018, with answers posted August 23, 2018, and bids were due August 27, 2018, by 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time. Notice of intent to award was expected August 28, 2018.

All pricing must include delivery, installation, and related costs as a delivered and installed price; the State of Colorado will not pay for shipping or freight. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) registered and verified by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs may receive a 5 percent bid preference. Resident bidder preferences apply based on reciprocal arrangements with the bidder's home state. Bidders must submit a bid pricing sheet, specification verification and delivery sheet, vendor information sheet, current insurance certificates covering automobile liability, workers' compensation, and general liability (with a $1,000,000 minimum general liability policy naming CPW as additional insured), and a W-9 form if not registered on the Colorado Vendor Self-Service portal. Payment will be made following delivery and acceptance by the CPW project manager. The awarded vendor will receive a purchase order incorporating the terms of the solicitation, the bid, and Colorado Purchase Order Terms and Conditions. One vendor award is anticipated, and other State of Colorado departments and agencies are eligible to use the resulting pricing.
