About this file
This is a bid sheet for RFB 605 2600000683 issued by the Kentucky state government for polypropylene barrier wall construction in Districts 11 and 12. The project requires vendors to submit bids for mobilization, foundation preparation (both yielding and non-yielding), installation of polypropylene bags in various heights (2', 3', 4', 5', and 6'), concrete placement using transfer pumps or mechanical support and pump trucks, traffic control, aggregate stone supply, channel lining for erosion control, Class B concrete, and long-reach trackhoe equipment rental. District 11 requires 1,000 linear feet of 2' bags, 200 linear feet of 3' bags, and 600 linear feet of 4' bags, while District 12 requires 1,000 linear feet of 2' bags, 500 linear feet of 3' bags, and 500 linear feet of 4' bags. Both districts require 15 lump sum mobilization events, 10 and 5 linear feet of foundation preparation work respectively, and identical quantities for concrete placement, traffic control, stone aggregate, channel lining, and trackhoe equipment. Vendors are not required to bid all districts and must guarantee a minimum number of years of experience in providing similar barrier wall construction services.
Vendors shall submit actual bid prices and response times on the bid sheet and upload responses into the e-procurement system. All line items include materials, labor, and equipment necessary for completion. Traffic control must meet current Kentucky Transportation Cabinet specifications, MUTCD standards, and standard drawings, with all flaggers required to hold flagger certification. The bid sheet contains columns for unit prices and extended prices for each district, with total bid amounts to be calculated. A minimum of 8 hours per delivery order applies to concrete placement and long-reach trackhoe services. The state reserves the right to supply fill material using other master agreements rather than accepting vendor-supplied Class B concrete.
