The project encompasses comprehensive home renovation including kitchen appliances (sink, faucet, range, cooktop, microwave hood vent, and refrigerator), bathroom fixtures (vanity sink, faucet, tub faucet, shower faucet, tub, tub surround, shower enclosure, toilet, and exhaust fan), flooring materials (luxury vinyl plank and carpet), HVAC equipment, hot water heater, ceiling and lighting fixtures, roofing materials, gutters, and windows. The scope of work specifies detailed installation and finishing requirements, including the use of new braided supply lines for plumbing fixtures, proper drywall finishing with taping, mudding, texturing, and painting, laminate countertops with four-inch backsplashes, and plywood or better cabinetry with solid hardwood fronts and side-mounted drawer guides. All electrical appliances must be Energy Star approved with LED bulbs.

Licensed and insured general contractors in good standing with Escambia County are eligible to bid on this project, with new county contractors required to submit a letter of insurability. Bids must be submitted through OPENGOV only. The county reserves the right to award line items individually for emergency services limited to roofing and septic or sewer work. Contractors are obligated to use products that are like, similar, or equal in value to those specified, and must assume responsibility for moving furniture while protecting all surfaces, property, and homeowner belongings from damage. Inquiries regarding the project should be directed to Scott Sanchez at NED, 850-595-0827 or jssanchez@myescambia.com.
